Soldier Mailing/YNOT children's Event

Tuesday 5-20 is our next mailing from the TRN club .

Many in our community have suffered from the tragedy that occurred at YNOT in Chatham.

The children of the after-school program will be on the TRN grounds and in the building on the 20th as a break, diversion, respite as a way to help with healing their emotions from this awful circumstance.

Springfield Cares Soldier Mailing will be sharing space next week with these kids. Please understand that like our Christmas mailing, things will be different next week. I cannot predict all that will happen, but I know that our cause, as noble as we feel it is, pales in comparison to the need to support the youngsters of our community, for they are our future.

So, for our next mailing I'm asking all our volunteers to be present and be supportive of the many children who will share the space we enjoy. Who knows, maybe some of them will want to help, and maybe that will help them.

Plan on the place to be packed, plan on it being different, and plan to support our troops and our communities' children at the same time.

Maybe an extra bag of candy to share with the kids is in order.

We know it will be awesome, don’t miss this one, it will be epic!
